Terms & Conditions
By accepting an estimate, proposal, invoice, or service from Root Culture Landscapes, the customer agrees to the following terms and conditions:
Estimates & Pricing
- Due to fluctuations in material pricing, labor availability, and scheduling demands, all estimates are valid for seven (7) days from the date issued unless otherwise stated in writing.
- Root Culture Landscaping reserves the right to adjust estimates, pricing, scheduling, or project scope as necessary based on market conditions, material costs, site conditions, or project changes.
- All estimates are subject to a required deposit consisting of the cost of materials and/or up to fifty percent (50%) of labor costs prior to scheduling or commencement of work.
Scheduling & Project Timelines
- Estimated project start dates and completion timelines are approximate and subject to change.
- Root Culture Landscaping shall not be held responsible for delays caused by inclement weather, material shortages, supplier delays, acts of nature, site accessibility issues, or other circumstances beyond the company’s control.
Underground Utilities & Property Conditions
- Root Culture Landscaping is not responsible for damage to or repair of any undisclosed, improperly marked, or unmarked irrigation lines, water lines, electrical lines, gas lines, drainage systems, invisible fencing, low-voltage wiring, septic systems, or other underground utilities or structures.
- The customer is solely responsible for identifying and disclosing all known underground utilities, private lines, and site hazards prior to the start of work.
Right to Terminate Services
- Root Culture Landscaping reserves the right to terminate any agreement, estimate, service contract, or ongoing work at its sole discretion if a customer, resident, guest, or representative engages in:
- Harassment
- Threatening conduct
- Abusive or inappropriate language
- Discrimination
- Intimidation
- Unsafe behavior
- Repeated disrespectful or disruptive conduct toward the company, its owners, employees, subcontractors, or representatives
In the event of termination, the customer shall remain responsible for payment for all completed work, delivered materials, scheduled labor, and any incurred costs up to the date of termination.
Warranty Policy
- Root Culture Landscaping provides:
- A thirty (30) day workmanship warranty covering the quality of installation and craftsmanship performed by the company
- A thirty (30) day limited warranty on plant material installed by the company beginning on the date of installation
- This warranty does not cover plant loss, decline, damage, or property issues resulting from:
- Improper watering
- Overwatering or underwatering
- Lack of maintenance or neglect
- Drainage issues
- Pest infestations or disease
- Extreme temperatures or weather conditions
- Acts of nature
- Soil conditions
- Existing site conditions
- Damage caused by pets, wildlife, vehicles, or third parties
- Failure to follow maintenance, irrigation, drainage, or care recommendations provided by Root Culture Landscaping
Root Culture Landscaping shall not be held liable for poor plant health, plant failure, or property damage resulting from the customer’s failure to properly maintain the property or follow professional recommendations provided by the company.
Acceptance of Terms
Acceptance of any estimate, invoice, proposal, payment, or scheduling confirmation constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of these Terms & Conditions by the customer.
